Fascist Jarred Sallas of Huntsville, Alabama

We would like to remind you that the reason we release these articles is for self-defense against violent and bigoted people in our communities, be they violent neo-Nazis and racists or sexual abusers. By releasing this information we’re allowing the public to be able to be aware of potential danger and its location. The majority of people we expose actively seek out violence and we aim to stop that from happening.

There’s no such thing as a fascist that’s too small to expose because 1. being one is inherently violent and 2. their end goal is genocide.

Hello,
I am writing to inform you that one of your employees, Jarred Sallas of Huntsville, is a white supremacist who openly posts on his Facebook about murdering people and doing violence to his political enemies. He also posts, and likes pages, about neo-Nazi activities, racism, and misogynistic and anti-LGBT+ sentiment. He’s believed to be a danger to vulnerable people.

I learned about Jarred Sallas at haleyvilleara.blackblogs.org (editors note: for clarity, that’s Haleyville ARA).

Today, we’re releasing information on Huntsville, Alabama resident and violent, misogynist, transphobic, anti-communist fascist Jarred Sallas. On social media, he’s a bit of a crypto-fascist; meaning, he attempts to conceal his explicit fascism. This can take the form of couching anti-immigrant sentiment, anti-Semitism, and ethnonationalism in the imagery of memes or the rhetoric of conservative talking points. But it’s not hard to uncover his fascism if you’re familiar with alt-right rhetoric. It’s even easier when you take a look at his “likes” on social media, as he follows explicit fascist accounts like Anti-Communist Action and others revolving around the “redpill”–a white supremacist propaganda meme.

Obsession With Killing People

Jarred Sallas talks openly in public posts on Facebook about killing people, namely, his political opponents. In fact, he talks quite frequently about openly killing people. We found 16 posts where he fantasizes about killing those he dislikes, slaughtering people in a civil war that he hopes will happen, or killing anyone who disrespects the American flag. In one post, he talks about yelling hate out of a window, seemingly in an attempt to provoke one to violence in order to kill them. He says that the entire generation of millennials should have been drowned in a bathtub. He shares a post depicting a car running over a crowd of protestors. This particular meme was circulated widely by neo-fascists after Unite the Right in Charlottesville where a neo-Nazi ran his car into a crowd of people, killing one.

In another post, he says, “There’s [sic] certain people that you can kill throughout your life and she’s one of them.” referring to a speaker on Tucker Carlson’s show who’s talking about gender-neutral babies. In another post, he talks about committing child abuse seemingly against his hypothetical child by making them sleep in a tent in the back yard for “disrespecting parents.” In one post, showing how adept he is in ethical philosophy, he says, “There exists no good, only unrealized evil. I bring hope to the sinners and death to the people.” He calls Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “stupid” and says she’s “dying to have to have someone try to kill her.” In another post, he shares a meme about a zombie apocalypse that says white people can’t wait to go on a killing spree and not feel guilty. And in another, he shares a meme that says waterboarding is tactical baptism.

In yet another post that appears to contain lyrics to the song Wretched by Ghostmane, he says, among other things, “I’ll shoot an apple off your wifey’s head and miss and hit the bitch in the head.” The song itself talks about committing violence and genocide and anti-Semitism: “Mask on face. Weapons in my place. A hundred million bodies I’ma concentrate;” “Fuck around, participate in homicide. From sea to shining sea, a Christian holocaust. A pagan neo-Judaistic genocide;” “Lizard people all around me man.” “Lizard people” is an anti-Semitic slur that gets tossed around in conspiracy theorist circles and some of those in the alt-right use it as well.

Lastly, on the topic of killing, in a particularly disturbing post, he says in quotes, “‘I’m only dead cause [sic] you didn’t hear my cry for help.'” Well, we hear him loud and clear, and we hope that Jarred will get the help he needs before he acts on his murder fantasies and seriously harms someone (or himself).

Jarred thinks waterboarding is “tactical baptism.”

Jarred is quite obsessed with another civil war happening.
For Jarred, the penalty of destroying a piece of fabric is for him to beat the perpetrator to death.
Jarred would feel no remorse for going on a killing spree.
Lyrics to a Ghostmane song depicting misogyny and genocide.
A cry for help.

Transphobia, Racism, Misogyny

Jarred doesn’t think very highly of trans people. Anti-LGBT+ sentiment is very common in fascism. Neo-fascists and neo-Nazis see LGBT+ people as degenerate and they often spread bigoted memes depicting hateful sentiment and violence, and some even act on their impulses to violence. Fascists wish to restore society back to the atomic family era where gender roles were enforced and LGBT+ people were killed outright. Fascist “Reject Modernity” memes depict this worldview and they’re widely spread.

Jarred regularly posts racist and misogynist content. He makes it clear that he doesn’t care about women or their wellbeing and likes posts that level women down to being “whores;” in one post, he calls women “snakes.” He’s against feminism and likes anti-feminist pages and the misogynistic Men Going Their Own Way.

He also likes to spread around dishonest memes that seek to disinform others about antifascists and Black Lives Matter, comparing both to the KKK and claiming they’re communists. It’s true that some communists are a part of antifascist collectives, but not all antifascists are communists. “Antifa” (short for antifascist/antifascism) is a pan-radical left phenomenon that includes anarchists and other libertarian socialists (not to be confused with libertarianism). Black Lives Matter is a collective of black people that are standing up to police brutality, the murder of black folks by racist cops, and systematic, institutionalized racism. The KKK is a racist, fascist, white supremacist and Christian racialist movement who has a particularly violent and murderous history in the US. The klan is made up of neo-Nazis and they themselves are anti-communists. They marched at Unite the Right, and various fascist groups support them.

Anti-Communist Action, the Redpill, and Old-Time Fascism

There are only so many public posts on his two Facebook pages but luckily his “likes” are visible and we can learn quite a lot about his ideology. Aside from generic “shitposting” meme pages, he has liked a few explicitly fascist accounts like Anti-Communist Action, Captain Redpill, It’s OK To Be Right (which is a play on a fascist “it’s okay to be white” meme), and Spicy White Boy Memes.

As you know, Anti-Communist Action consists of fascist collectives around the US. They had a Discord account that got leaked by Unicorn Riot where they posted all kinds of violent and fascist posts. They were one of the groups behind the Unite the Right rally and helped to radicalize young white men.

Taken from Unicorn Riot’s article on Anticom.

In the leaked Discord logs, members of Anticom posted pictures of themselves committing anti-Semitic acts of vandalism, and other posts depict members sharing around information on explosives. Some members even proposed making a backpack bomb terror plot against antifascists.

Taking a sampling of posts from the Anticom Facebook page we can see them glorifying political assassination, general violence, and transphobia–because all fascists come from the same reactionary tree.

“Boogaloo” is a coded word for overthrowing the government and starting a race war.
Hoppe is an “anarcho-capitalist” who wants to round up political enemies like LGBT+ people and immigrants, which is in line with fascism.

Next on his “likes” list is Captain Redpill. “Redpill” is a reactionary meme passed around by neo-fascists. It refers to the film The Matrix where Neo takes the red pill and is able to see reality how it actually is. The “redpill” serves the same function in fascist circles: “redpilling” is the making of memes and arguments that serve as propaganda devised to radicalize those receptive into fascist circles. Posts here include anti-Semitism and transphobia.

Racist, anti-immigrant meme referring to more rigid fascists bemoaning alt-lite conservatives who are pro-legal immigration. It calls migrants and immigrants “diseases.” The “vaccine” is a border wall.
Racist meme that depicts Edward Norton’s neo-Nazi character in the movie American History X.
“Globalism” is an anti-Semitic coded word for Jews.
Hateful and transphobic sentiment.

“Ironic” anti-Semitic meme depicting the “God” Facebook account as being run by Jews.

Next is the page It’s Ok To Be Right. Notice the helicopter meme, misogyny, and the redpill photo. The name of the page is a play on the words “it’s okay to be white” which is a fascist meme advocating for a white identity and white supremacy.

Another meme about fascist dictator Pinochet throwing political enemies out of helicopters.
The so-called “redpill.”
Another meme about a race war.
Misogynistic screencap with Molyneoux, a crypto-fascist popular on Twitter and Youtube.
Images of the Knights Templar and the Crusades have also been appropriated by fascists to support Christo-fascism. This one refers to the “boogaloo.”
Anti-LGBT+ meme with Pepe.
“Igloo” here is play on the word “boogaloo” which has been appropriated by fascists to mean an overthrowing of the government and starting a race war.
A racist Stonetoss comic. Stonetoss is a collection of racist and bigoted images.
A person painted up as Pepe the frog, a meme appropriated by fascists.

Lastly, here’s some racist posts from the page Spicy White Boy Memes.

Antifascism is Self-Defense!

This sort of content is the typical stuff that you’d run across being posted by the alt-right and other neo-fascists. The leaked Discord chats by Unicorn Riot shows this exact same content being shared in the private chats of groups like Identity Evropa and Patriot Front.

Jarred seems to be obsessed with posting about violence and murder on social media and spreading around hatred and bigotry of vulnerable and marginalized groups. We’ve seen people just like this in 2019 who’ve posted the exact same rhetoric who went on to commit mass shootings.

We do this work in proactive self-defense in the aim to prevent things like this from happening and to educate the public on potential threats and dangerous people. Keep in mind that these are all fascist, misogynistic, and anti-LGBT+ pages that Jarred has liked out of his own free will. Both Jarred, through the posts he’s made and the pages he’s liked, advocate for violence. If you’re in Huntsville, be on the lookout.

Neo-Nazi Dakota Estes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama

The images in this article have been deleted to make more room for media data. See this archive to view all images.

Today, we’ve identified local neo-Nazi Dakota Estes of Tuscaloosa. Dakota has ties to fascists in Ukraine and is into the neo-Nazi black metal scene, sporting gear of such bands as Burzum and Kommando Peste Noir. He’s been seen in public sporting Nazi symbols in some fast-food restaurants. Dakota seems particularly bold in wearing neo-Nazi hate symbols in public. We hope that’s about to change.

As a reminder, we post these exposés as proactive self-defense against fascists and local rapists so the public can be informed of local hateful and violent individuals.

Dakota states on social media that he’s a resident of Tuscaloosa. Dakota’s last known address is 16429 Highway 18 Vernon, AL 35592-3317.

Earlier this month, Carbon Hill, Alabama mayor Mark Chambers made national headlines by posting inflammatory, incendiary Facebook posts on his personal account. He advocated for an outright genocide against, in his own words, homosexuals, transvestites, “baby killers,” and socialists. These comments of extreme bigotry, violence, and outright murder by Mark Chambers come amid a slew of similar statements made by other old, white conservatives and far right white supremacists in positions of power in Alabama.

Goodloe Sutton, a newspaper editor in Alabama, called for the return of the KKK and the lynching of Democrats. Mobile County Treasurer Phil Benson posted on Mobile County Republican Party Facebook page that, “Freaking queers have gotten too much sympathy,” regarding a National Review article. Alabama congressman, white supremacist, and anti-Semite Mo Brooks voted against an anti-racist measure because it protected Jews, people of color and LGBT+ individuals but not “Caucasians” or Christians. By now, everyone already knows about all-around racist, homophobe, and bigot Roy Moore who made national headlines for sexual abuse against a 14-year-old. The latest outburst by Mark Chambers shows the deep and ongoing racism and bigotry against vulnerable, marginalized, and oppressed people here in Alabama.

Advocate for Genocide

Mark Chambers first made a Facebook post (he has since deactivated his account) in early June saying, “We live in a society where homosexuals lecture us on morals, transvestites lecture us on human biology, baby killers lecture us on human rights and socialists lecture us on economics.” Someone responded to the post with a misplaced sense of victimization and called for a revolution, to which Chambers replied, “The only way to change it would be to kill the problem out. I know it’s bad to say but without killing them out there’s no way to fix it.”

When news of the controversy got out, Chambers initially denied making the comments but later changed his story, saying that the post was taken out of context because it was supposed to be a private message and not a public comment. One wonders in what context one would be justified in advocating genocide against innocent people. He then tried to justify his statement on genocide by saying he was responding to the comment on revolution, and that in one, “these people would be killed out.” Later, he made an official apology. This came after much condemnation and his words merely rang hollow, a pathetic attempt to save face while crying crocodile tears because his violent rhetoric caught up with him.

A large number of people, both in office and general residents, have called for Chambers to resign. This includes a person who was shot in the head and survived in a 1979 murder attempt from klansmen. Chambers has stated that he didn’t plan on resigning and that the Carbon Hill community largely supported him. And to demonstrate what a massive coward he is after being found out, in a council meeting after people demanded answers from him, he walked out.

There’s a petition going on sponsored by Hometown Action and Equality Alabama to get him to resign.

Danger to the Community

In light of shootings and violence committed by fascists and other white supremacists this year, people ought to take Chambers’ comments seriously. It’s even more concerning in light of his justifications for the comments because he plainly said that he thought he was posting a private message that wasn’t supposed to be visible by the public. That is to say, he was sharing a private and deeply held belief that LGBT+ people, abortion activists, and socialists should be killed outright. To reiterate, a mayor said this, someone with an important seat of power. It’s abundantly clear that his targets aren’t safe in this community. We’re releasing Chambers’ doxx in proactive self-defense to let the public know where a possible threat exists.

Mark Chambers lives at 650 NE 12th Ave. Carbon Hill, AL 35549.

Corey Middleton, AKA “Hambonesfury,” is an Alabama resident who is a heathen/asatru fascist and avowed nationalist, anti-Semite, misogynist, and an advocate for anti-LGBT+ rights. His social media posts include outright examples of fascism and ethnonationalism, and appears to support violent fascist groups such as League of the South who marched in the deadly fascist Unite the Right rally.

In some of his profile pictures, he’s seen with a Revenge of the Cis filter. Revenge of the Cis is a fascist, anti-Semitic, misogynist, rape apologist/victim blaming, “redpill,” and specifically anti-LGBT+ podcast. In their videos, they can be seen mocking LGBT+ individuals, making racist comments, and promoting other content of fascists/alt-righters such as Owen Benjamin, Harrison Smith, and Vox Day.

Elsewhere, he can be seen posting pictures with the fascist dogwhistle “It’s okay to be white,” which is used to smuggle in white “identitarianism” (that is, “white identity,” which is another word for ethnonationalism) into popular discourse. This is prominently seen in violent fascist hate groups Identity Evropa, recently rebranded as American Identity Movement, and Patriot Front.

He also features an anti-Semitic Facebook cover which argues that, if one isn’t a proponent of nationalism–which is pro-“the white race” and a future for white children–then one is aiding “globalists,” which is another dogwhistle meaning “the Jews,” and that one will be swept up in a “monoculture.”

He supports the racist flag of the Confederacy and has no sense of aesthetics.

Here he shows sympathies with a racist form of heathenism/paganism, such as that espoused by fascist group Asatru Folk Assembly and Wotanist groups.

He’s something of a gamer and has left a paper trail of some games he likes to play, such as Robert E. Lee: Civil War General for Windows 1996. Notice his dishonesty in relation to racism, as his views shown above are inherently racist. Also notice the usage of the word “cuck,” which is a popular and racist word used in the alt-right.

He’s also left a review for the game World War Rising.

Further evidence of his fascism and his sympathies and support for other fascists is evidenced by him commenting on Jason Kessler’s website. Kessler was an organizer for the violent and deadly Unite the Right rally.

Additionally, his “likes” on Facebook also show his fascist views, sympathies, and support of other fascists and fascist organizations. For instance, we see that he likes pages such as Occidental Revival, Wolfclan Armory, Breitbart, and alt-right “Kekistan” pages.

The page Occidental Revival has images in favor of the fascist tiki torch rally the night before Unite the Right, where white supremacists encircled a handfew of university anti-fascist and anti-racist students and committed violence against them. Wolfclan Armory is a fascist storefront. Eugene Antifa has written about them.

Howard Goodloe Sutton, Publisher of Democrat-Reporter: Racist, Anti-Semitic KKK Supporter

The images in this article have been deleted to make more room for media data. See this archive to view all images.

Howard Goodloe Sutton is the publisher, editor, and owner of the small newspaper Democrat-Reporter, which he operates in his current city, Linden, Alabama. He made national headlines back in February 2019 when he wrote an editorial titled Klan Needs to Ride Again, in which he advocated for the lynchings of Democrats and Democrats in the Republican party who were plotting to raise taxes. This is only the most recent controversy surrounding Sutton. He’s had a long track record of penning inflammatory, racist, and bigoted posts. For instance, in 2014 he defended Hitler and the anti-Semitism of the Nazis, as well as spewing racist drivel toward Blacks and Muslims. He also has a long history of anti-Semitism and spewing Nazi-era propaganda targetting Jews, as well as calling for the extrajudicial killings of Socialists and Communists.

Interestingly, Sutton gained acclaim and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2007 for reporting on corruption in the Marengo County Sherriff’s Office. Let’s examine some of his behavior and reveal him as an Alabamian fascist.

Timeline of Racism

  •  2019: As stated above, most recently, Sutton has come under fire for his remarks about the “return” (as if it ever went away) of the klan and the lynching of politicians who are raising taxes. He clarified in a later interview that, “We’ll get the hemp ropes out, loop them over a tall limb and hang all of them.”As a result of this, he was removed from the University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Mass Communication and Journalism’s Hall of Fame. Auburn University’s Journalism Advisory Council also voted to revoke Sutton’s community journalism award.

Additionally, it resulted in the resignation of Elecia Dexter, who is a Black editor and who was appointed as the publisher in late February of the Democrat-Reporter. Her resignation came after interference from Sutton and articles that were published without her authorization containing false information about reporter Melissa Brown of the Montgomery Advertiser. In a moment perhaps of revenge and irresponsibility, Sutton attempted to doxx Dexter later by releasing her email and phone number, putting a Black woman at risk of violence or worse in an already racist state.

  • 2018: In September, he wrote an editorial that alluded to the anti-Semitic conspiracy theory of Jewish ritual sacrifice, criticizing people “who make football a religion with human sacrifices,” then claiming that “Gentiles trying to act like Jews is ridiculous.” The same editorial is filled with racism toward Blacks while bemoaning “anti-white” racism aimed at Trump. Particularly, “anti-white” racism is a narrative that’s furthered in alt-right circles, particularly in Identity Evropa/American Identity Movement. In the same year, an editorial was published that stated, “the Democrats loved war as long as it lined the pockets of the Jews who run America.” And: “If the Jews would read their own history, they could predict that God is going to let someone clean them out, again.”
  • 2016: Continuing in his anti-Semitic Nazi-era propaganda, he made stereotypes of Jewish financiers in order to accuse the “establishment” of agitating against Trump because “the establishment has some Jews in it who don’t want any changes in the laws governing money changing.”
  • 2014: In another editorial, he stated, “to not put Hitler and Eichmann in context is a sin of omission. Why did they want to rid Germany of Jews? Go read German history after World War I.”
  • 2012: Sutton described Obamacare in another editorial as: “more and more like a muslim [sic] plot to wreck America.” In the same issue, there’s a graphic displayed that, given the tone and history of the Democrat-Reporter so far, appears racist and condemning toward Blacks. Instead of discussing the fundamental and systemic racism that oppresses Black people in society, it appears to be having a go at them and painting them as lessers in society.

Alabamian Fascist

The bigotry that’s rampant in Sutton isn’t isolated racism in a vacuum. He states sympathy for Hitler and repeats the same racist and anti-Semitic Nazi-era propaganda and he has painted the klan as an alright kind of organization that wasn’t that bad. He hates the Jews, people of color, and people of LGBT+ communities, and he’s stated that he’s pro-lynching of political opponents. Sutton is a typical fascist who had a hateful platform through which he advocated for bigotry. This has caused him to be deplatformed in multiple arenas and he has perhaps retaliated against a Black woman, with whom he worked, by trying to doxx her. Well, surprise, surprise, Mr. Klan and Hitler Supporter; hate has consequences. Here’s his full doxx.

Sutton is 80 years old, living in Linden, Alabama. He has a PO Box: Po Box 480040
Linden, AL 36748-0040; and he is believed to live at 121 Old Thomaston RD Linden, AL 36748. Possible phone numbers are: (334) 813-7224 – Wireless; (334) 295-8448 – LandLine; (334) 295-5224 – LandLine.

Alabama Ex-Marine and Identity Evropa Member “The Lion”, Jake Purvis

The images in this article have been deleted to make more room for media data. See this archive to view all images.

Independent media Unicorn Riot has released a plethora of leaked Discord chats from fascist hate group Identity Evropa, recently rebranded as American Identity Movement. Since then, antifascists have extensively researched the logs and exposed the violent members behind the Nice Respectable People Group server with the hashtag #IdentifyEvropa on Twitter. Details and doxxes of members are also being posted at the sites Identify Evropa and Panic in the Discord. Today, we’re releasing our second contribution in the ongoing process of identifying fascist members in the chats. Let’s meet south Alabama resident, ex-marine, and Identity Evropa member Jake Purvis.

The Discord Logs

In the logs, Jake goes by the username “The Lion” and his very first message reveals his name and his involvement in the marines.

He has lots to say about “white identity,” including the desire for white people to produce more children so that other races don’t outbreed whites. He thinks that people in the US ought to have a strong and united voice against immigration and he supports the indoctrination of children having a strong sense of their race and heritage, and teaching them to be racist, xenophobic, and against immigration and multiculturalism. It becomes clear in the chat by his observing non-whites in society that he’s paranoid and has a victim complex.

He also states his concern for sperm donation, believing that it allows for “the chance for a leftist to have your child and raise them as a part of the leftist brainless machine [sic]”

Something that Identity Evropa has sought to do is attempting to become a crypto-fascist organization, concealing their outright hatred, violence, and anti-Semitism. This is evidenced in part by the server name “Nice Respectable People Group.” They even had some rules in place that forbids talking about violence or displaying anti-Semitic speech. They wanted to present the public with a squeaky clean facade of gentlemanly “identitarianism,” and members have even infiltrated local Republican groups for recruitment. This much can be seen here where Jake mentions that talk of a race war can be controversial. He also reveals here that he has a fiance and that she’s originally from California and she was homeschooled. He reveals that he’s pondered the idea of homeschooling his future children, 1. because he wants to teach them “uncommon” things like fishing and camping, 2. because he doesn’t want the public education system to indoctrinate them; which is rich, as he just stated that he’s fine with it if he’s the one doing it.

He reveals here that he’s from Alabama, as well as showing bigotry toward those who have body types that he doesn’t like.

He shows here that he’s tried to talk to his fiance about white identity, trying to radicalize her into adopting fascist, “identitarian,” white identity ideals. We can only hope that, if she doesn’t see this exposition, she’ll recognize these ideas as bigoted and fascist and get as far away from Jake that she can.

Just like every other Identity Evropa member and every other fascist group out there, Jake is an anti-Semite who thinks that Jews are part of some grand global cabal that is in control of government and is corrupting culture as we know it. This is a wide conspiracy theory that’s passed around in fascist circles with no basis in reality, merely serving to scapegoat and to “other,” dehumanize, those whom they don’t like, and to justify irrational hate.

He’s seen here reading a .pdf by racist ethnonationalist Jared Taylor.

He tells us here that he’s really not fond of abortion, likely because his whole worldview is grounded in pseudo-science and misogyny. Also here, he talks about poor ole southerners being crippled by poverty after the abolishment of slavery.

In a bit of irony, he posts here that he can’t seem to understand how antifa has a victimhood complex (they don’t) and yet be so violent (they aren’t, and using violence to defend ourselves against Nazis is a valid action).

Chasing Down Jake’s Identity

We have a bit to go on from the start, as he gave us his first name, Jake, stated he was in the marines, and he has given us a link to his personal Twitter, which we have archived. On his Twitter page, we get these two pictures of him.

We don’t get a good look at his face, so we did a bit more digging. The name he gave us is Jake, and he said he’s from Alabama and that he was in the marines. The Twitter account above was last active in February. We came across this Twitter account by a Jake Purvis and it was last active in 2015, and we can see both by the picture and the biography line that this person both lives in Alabama and was going to be a marine, with what looks to be the same body type.

In digging around some more, we see that this same account gives a link to another Twitter that he runs. So, we followed it.

Continuing to hunt around, we came upon yet another account that clearly shows it’s the same person, this one with the URL as @334tacoma.

This account is locked down. Wonder why that could be. Google allows us to peer a bit into @334tacoma’s timeline. We can see the same sort of content posted all across the above accounts.

If you’re in the community, be vigilant. We put this kind of information out so the public can be knowledgeable of violent and dangerous groups and individuals.

Here are some bigger versions of the above photos.

Identity Evropa Member, South Dakota Farmer “Der Seeteufel” AKA Andrew Wietgrefe

The images in this article have been deleted to make more room for media data. See this archive to view all images.

Recently, Unicorn Riot has released a large number of Discord logs containing chats between various fascists and neo-Nazis of different groups. Within these logs, racist and fascist members of groups such as Identity Evropa, Patriot Front, Traditionalist Worker Party, League of the South, Atomwaffen Division, and others can be seen organizing violent events and rallies such as the deadly 2017 Unite the Right rally. As a result of the recent Identity Evropa Discord leaks, various antifascist groups have been on a campaign of exposing members using the hashtag #IdentifyEvropa. Identity Evropa has since rebranded as American Identity Movement. Today, we’re exposing Identity Evropa member Andrew Wietgrefe.

Racist and Misogynistic Discord Posts

In the chats, Andrew went by the username @Der Seeteufel – SD. “SD” in the name refers to South Dakota and he can be seen posting in the chats numerous times that he is from there. On the very first page of all his posts, he can be seen commenting in the Charlottesville server. He admits therein that he was an attendant of Unite the Right and that he and Identity Evropa members hung around the group Vanguard America–the group that Nazi terrorist James Alex Fields Jr. was with when he plowed his car into a crowd of people. He even mentioned that he talked with Richard Spencer, one of the slated speakers for the rally, and he calls him “a great guy.”

He slips up right off the bat by, after talking about his involvement in Charlottesville, mentioning his employment information and talking specifically about his line of work–working at a tractor parts manufacturer. He was also kind enough to post pictures all throughout the logs of his workplace and the equipment he uses, even posting clear pictures of himself. He boasts there about not being worried about showing his face because he works at an undoxxable job. Related to his job, he mentions in the style of “white pilling”–used to refer to manipulating a narrative to get others to favor “white identity interests”–that due to his “high agency” status, his shift’s head of maintenance encouraged him to apply for a maintenance tech position that was almost guaranteed.

Among his messages, he demonstrates himself to be a racist. He states that he found a Christian church where a member was a casual racist and no one batted an eye and that this seemed to be an example of acceptable values. He also reveals here that he has experience operating nuclear reactors, something which he will later elaborate on as doing in the Navy.

He’s a big Tucker Carlson fan too, mentioning him a few times throughout the chats, as well as his disdain for Blacks, Hispanics, and other people of color. He posts often about encouraging other white people to have white babies because he thinks the “white race” is being weeded out by diversity and multiculturalism, which, to be sure, is flatly false and smacks of misplaced victimhood. In another post, he expresses his support for racist Jared Taylor who furthers this exact idea.

In finding out exactly who @Der Seeteufel is, it was largely helpful that he mentioned his uncle is an author and included his name: Gary Wietgrefe. Elsewhere in the chats, he mentions that his first name is Andrew. In doing some basic research, we find out that Andrew’s last name, too, is Wietgrefe. And what do you know, in searching Facebook for the name Andrew Wietgrefe we come across a profile that both matches his face from the photos he shared in the chats AND we see some of the exact same pictures he posted there of his work; we’ll get to that later.

Here, he shows us that he’s an anti-Semite and he confirms that he has Naval experience with nuclear power.

Here are some of the pictures that he posted of his job site and his line of work. Additionally here, he talks about another person who was with the group who killed himself because he got found out after Unite the Right, and he also talks about associating with neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin of the Daily Stormer and helping other fascists who got doxxed by relocating them to his residence.

More on his work and racism.

He’s seen here talking about ways to dull down his fascist ideas and make them seem more palatable and innocent to “normies” or those who are outside of fascism.

Here, he posts more racist and Islamophobic drivel. He also spouts off patriarchal and misogynistic notions about women.

He mentions often that white identitarians should go to church, as it is, to him, a good place to find a date–a traditionalist white woman–with whom one could strike up a relationship with for the sake of having white children and therefore offsetting “white genocide” or “the great displacement” of white people. He says that he is of the Church of the Lutheran Confession denomination and that his pastor is fully aware of his membership in violent fascist hate group Identity Evropa, now rebranded as American Identity Movement, and is aware of the group’s participation in Charlottesville. He also specifies that, in his view, diversity of religion is a big problem in the US because he seems to advocate for a theocracy and further states that he’s fine with “church hopping” because there are a lot of “based” Christians, meaning those who lean far right or have fascist and racist tendencies.

Here, he boasts that no one in his state voted for immigrant rights and that he got a shout out on an episode of Fash the Nation. He posts also about his uninterest with Native culture, saying that he was unimpressed with artifacts in a Native museum. He has a general loathing for anything from other cultures, and later he posts a message that mocks a Native person who was harassed. One reason why he so confidently posts such bigoted content is that he thinks he’s a true asset to his manufacturer and is therefore invulnerable, having the ability to say anything he likes that’s reprehensible without consequences. He’s also no stranger to transphobia.

In these messages, he reveals that his name is Andrew and displays more misogyny.

A Young Fascist Romance

Later on in the chats, he reveals that he was introduced to a girl in his church by way of his pastor. She lived in Australia and apparently came to the States looking for a husband. In following the chats, it seems that they met up with Andrew flying to Australia and proposing to her and later on having her move to the US. It seems a young romance has risen. Perhaps it would have been quite the wholesome love story of a farmer meeting the girl of his dreams in Australia and ending up happily married if our boy here wasn’t a hateful, racist, bigoted fascist who’s in a violent ethnonationalist group trying to purge non-white people from an imagined future ethnostate.

As seen above, we can corroborate that this is indeed Andrew as his personal Facebook includes pictures he posted in the Discord chats, such as a hat that he received in Australia and a picture of his workplace.

He also posted a picture of his truck with his tag number in full view, as well as more pictures of himself.

Contact Information

Doing some further research, it appears that Andrew is still in the Navy as an ET3–an electronics technician, third class–which it seems by military policy that membership in hate groups is strictly barred. Small wonder what military leadership thinks about a fascist in its ranks being around nuclear power plants.

Protect Our Communities

As an antifascist, anti-rapist collective, we expose hate and bigotry in our area in order to protect our communities. For this reason, we’re making the public aware of a violent hate group that is active in our area so that people can be informed of local threats and to cultivate safety. Here, we present a fascist organization that’s headquartered here in Alabama, the League of the South, and its violent and bigoted leader Michael Hill.

The League of the South is a violent Southern “white nationalist” fascist neo-confederate group that’s headquartered in Wetumpka, Alabama. The group is led by Michael Hill who lives in Killen. The League advocates for Southern secession and a racist version of Christian theocracy. Like other fascist movements and groups, it espouses a “white European” cultural hegemony and it refers to itself as an “identitarian” movement, meaning, it advocates for a nationalist “white identity”, an ethnostate comprised of “white people.” The League of the South’s ideology is centered on racism and romanticization of the Confederacy and Confederate symbols. Along with its white and black “X” logo, similar to the white and red Alabama flag, members can often be seen sporting the Confederate flag and protesting its removal from public spaces, as well as protesting the removal of Confederate monuments. In the same vein, the group has advocated for slavery.

Michael Hill is the leader of the League of the South. Ironically, Hill was a professor of British history at a historically black college, Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, before founding the group in 1994. Under Hill, the group has rallied for a race war and formed a paramilitary unit. Nowadays, the League can be seen spreading anti-Semitic propaganda, burning Talmuds, and throwing Hitler salutes. On August 11th and 12th, the League traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to attend a neo-Nazi rally named Unite the Right. On the night of the 11th, the League attended a tiki torch rally there where fascists of various organizations surrounded and committed violence against a small group of protesters, and they could be heard chanting “Jews will not replace us.” The following day, August 12th, they were at Unite the Right wherein they clashed with protesters and antifascists in the streets. The event culminated with neo-Nazi terrorist James Alex Fields Jr. running his car into a crowd of people on a narrow street which killed one, Heather Heyer, and severely wounded a number of others.

After Unite the Right, the League along with other violent fascists that attended were subjected to a prominent blowback of the violent event in the media and were widely doxxed by antifascists. Salient examples include members of the military who attended being outed and discharged.

Recently as a result of the fallout of Charlottesville where fascists have been widely fired from their jobs and deplatformed, the League has gathered secretly in places to hold quick demonstrations and photoshoots without an audience, presumably so that they won’t draw the attention of antifascist activists and have these quick events shut down. The League has become largely weakened but they’re still active and they’re still organizing in our communities. The League has its national headquarters in Wetumpka, Alabama and the building is operated as a sort of church where unassuming casual racists and fascists, such as your next door neighbor or uncle or family friend, gather.

Here’s what we know about Michael Hill: he lives at 146 Bridgewood Dr. Killen, Alabama 35645; his possible phone numbers are 256-757-8287 and 205-553-4624. The national headquarters is located at 12868 AL-53.
